An ensemble drama set in Osaka. It depicts the lives of Asian people living in the downtown area of Osaka, commonly known as "Kita”. One day in the spring, the skeletal remains of an old woman is found in an old apartment in Kita, Osaka. The police launch an investigation and continue to ask questions around the apartment, but there are many rumors flying around whether she died alone or was murdered in a plot related to her fortune. At the same time, various events are happening between the foreigners who have come to Kita, such as Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean tourists, a Malaysian business person, a Nepali refugee, a Myanmarese student, and a Vietnamese technical intern trainee, and the Japanese people who share their daily lives with them. Eventually, when the investigation of the case is over, the people reach a new crossroads in their lives.
