Damian, a young boy raised by a single mother, believes that his father is a famous footballer playing for Glasgow Celtic F.C. His dream is to visit him. In his everyday life he has difficulty finding a common language with his mother who is trying to make a new life for herself with a younger man. It is easier for him to get on with his pregnant friend, Monika, who is a few years older. When the time comes, Damian will have to choose between his dreams and common sense, a consequence of his subconscious need to correct somebody else's mistakes.
